I recently learned that Gayle Essary died in July, 2006. Gayle was the founder of the Streaming Media Alliance. Although he had returned to finance and was no longer involved in streaming, Gayle was most helpful in the transition to new leadership of the Alliance.
An article is posted in the "In the News" section of this website, a tribute to Gayle from a colleague in the finance industry.
I am sorry we have lost Gayle. He was a person of conviction and priciple.
